The Company

Nomadic Adventures & Tours is owned and personally operated by a Bedouin family who have lived in the Wahiba Sands for generations.

Rashid bin Mohamed al Mughairy and his father Mohamed started with guided camel safaris in 1986 after a direct request from expatriates living in Oman.

Other tour operators have since copied the idea, but Rashid and his father have continued to offer a simple experience in which the full beauty and tranquillity of the desert can be appreciated.

The Sultanate of Oman is our country and we know it well. We have over 17 years experience of guiding visitors through all Oman and specially through the Wahiba Sands.

We use our own 4 wd vehicles and our own camels which are highly trained, very reliable and used to visitors.
